"Apex Legends" is finally coming to Nintendo Switch, ready to take on "Fortnite" on March 9.
After the release of Apex Legends' eighth season, developer Respawn Entertainment announced that its hugely popular battle royale shooter will now be available on Nintendo's hybrid gaming console and Nintendo Switch Lite ...
The latest season adds a 16th legendary (new character), Fuse, and a significantly updated map of Kings Canyon.
And the new season will be available on Switch as soon as the game is released. Respawn will also offer Switch players double XP for the first two weeks after launch and 30 free levels in the Season 8 Battle Pass.
The Switch version of the game is being co-developed by Panic Button and Respawn, a studio known for porting well-known titles like "Rocket League" and "Doom Eternal" to handheld consoles. Given that the latest "Doom" runs smoothly on the Switch's relatively old hardware, one can expect "Apex Legends" to run well on Nintendo's console as well.
And don't worry if many of your friends play on different platforms, such as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or PC; Nintendo Switch users will receive cross-play support for "Apex Legends" will be offered, allowing them to fight together even if they are on different platforms.
