If you watch Top Gear America online, don't expect an imitation of the original; Motor Trend and Top Gear have teamed up to bring an interesting new host to the show.

The goal remains the same: to entertain those who talk about and enjoy insane antics on wheels. To that end, we've enlisted actors Dax Shepard ("Parenthood," "Idiocracy") and Rob Corddry ("The Daily Show," "Hot Tub Time Machine") and paired them with automotive journalist Jethro Bovingdon.

And this series may be hard to find on regular streaming services; it's only on Motor Trend on Demand, and nowhere else. Fortunately, at $4.99/month, this service is cheaper than Disney Plus; there's also a 7-day free trial.

Oh, did we already have "Top Gear America"? Yes, this is basically a rebooted show, taking over the title of the BBC America show, but on a new platform.

This is easy: Top Gear America will debut on Friday, January 29 at midnight ET, or Thursday, January 28 at 9pm ET.

According to The Futon Critic, the first six episodes of this Top Gear America will air on consecutive Fridays. The title of the first episode has not been determined at this time.
