More images of Samsung's Galaxy Buds Live, formerly known as Galaxy Buds X, have leaked, further confirming that the wireless earphones will have a bean-shaped design.
The new leak comes courtesy of trusted leaker Max Weinbach, who tweeted several images of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Buds headphones; two images show the Buds Live in white, black, and copper with a pebble-like They show that it has a charging case. There were no pictures of the previously leaked blue-gray color option, though. [The pebble-like design means the Galaxy Buds Live will stand out from rival wireless earbuds like the AirPods Pro and Google Pixel Buds 2. Whether to make wireless earbuds eye-catching or inconspicuous is a discussion for another time.
Also, the case appears to be a bit thicker than the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds Plus cases, which may suggest that it will have a larger battery than the aforementioned earphones. Apart from that, there is not much more that can be read from the leaked photos.
However, leaked information so far indicates that the Galaxy Buds Live will be available next month alongside Samsung's Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Watch 3. When the Galaxy Buds Live arrives, it will not only unveil a new design for the Galaxy Buds, but will also include a fitness tracking feature with sensors that collect data that will act as a fitness guide. The sensors are said to help measure distance, speed, time, heart rate changes, activity level, and calories burned.
The bean-shaped design should also increase the surface area slightly for better touch control of the earphones. It also wouldn't surprise me if active noise cancellation will be a feature of the upcoming earbuds. But we will have to wait a few weeks to know if all the leaked information so far is accurate or just hearsay.
