I have bad news and good news for GTA fans: GTA 6 has not been announced for the PS5. However, a remastered and expanded version of GTA V is coming to Sony's next-gen console.
Sony's PS5 game showcase on June 11 opened with the Rockstar logo and announced that GTA V will be available on the console in 2021 and that GTA V online will be free to all PS5 owners.
Perhaps you are wondering why a game that was originally released on the PS3, remastered and expanded for the PS4, is once again being released on the PS5; GTA V has a very popular and extremely valuable online component, so it is only natural that it will be experienced on Sony's next console It's a no-brainer.
Sony did not elaborate much on what additions the PS5 version of GTA V will have, but we expect it to run at 4K resolution, 60 frames per second, and possibly add HDR. He also expects that the PS5 version will include all previously released GTA V content.
Those who already own the PS4 version of "GTA V" may not be too keen on repurchasing the game for PS5. Sony has not yet fully clarified whether PS4 owners will be able to upgrade to the next-generation console version for free. However, the company is hoping to keep PS4 owners playing, and will be offering $1 million worth of in-game cash based on the number of months PlayStation Plus subscribers play GTA Online.
With the enhanced capabilities of the dual-sense controller, we expect to be able to play "GTA V" more comfortably on the PS5. The console's increased power will almost certainly look much better and run smoother, and the 3D audio should also make the game sound more immersive. But to get the most out of such a system, you may need the best gaming headset of our choice.
