A PS5 release date may have been revealed, along with new details about the DualSense controller.
Twitter user IronManPS5, the source of the PS5 rumor, claims in a new tweet that the DualSense will be available starting November 20 for $59.99 or £54.99 (via BGR). Since it makes sense for Sony to sell the controller and the console at the same time, it stands to reason that November 20 would be the release date for both.
In less surprising news, Iron Man also told followers that each PS5 will come bundled with a dual-sense controller. It would be cruel for Sony to make us buy a separate controller, so it's good to see our expectations confirmed here.
The leaker is also the source of an earlier claim that the PS5 will be priced at $499.99. This is $100 more than the launch price of the PS4 and may cause some potential customers to have second thoughts. This problem is compounded by rumors that the Xbox Series X will cost less than the PS5.
The Xbox Series X is expected to be released in November, the same time as the PS5. In addition to the possibility of a lower price, it will probably be the more powerful of the two consoles in terms of graphics. However, the PS4 will fight back with 3D audio and a custom SSD that will be the envy of even PC gamers.
