Update: Best Buy is currently sold out of the console; see our PS5 restock page for updates on PS5 restocking.
It's raining PS5 restocks today; after restocks at GameStop and Amazon, Best Buy now has the PS5 in stock for $499.
Yesterday's restock at Best Buy required a Totaltech membership, but today's restock is open to the public.
As with most retailers, pre-setting up a Best Buy account is a top priority; it could mean the difference between being able to buy a PS5 and coming up empty handed.
Previously, Best Buy's PS5 restocking required refreshing the product page until the yellow "Add to Cart" button or gray "Please Wait" button appeared. However, Best Buy's new process puts you on a waiting list. A pop-up window will appear with a "Confirm Account" and a confirmation of inventory. Therefore, you need to sign in to your account as soon as possible.
If you find that the PS5 is no longer in stock, you can try again from the incognito window of your browser. Repeat this process until you can (hopefully) get a console.
