All Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar shows announced on the day of Disney Plus

Disney Plus Day was a veritable avalanche of sneak peeks, trailers, and announcements of upcoming Marvel shows, Star Wars series, Pixar projects, and other Disney titles. Our Disney Plus Day Live blog followed every step of the second anniversary festivities.

There were teasers for Obi-Wan, new footage of Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight, and concept art and title logos for a dozen other shows and movies.

Here is a summary of Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and Disney shows announced or teased on Disney Plus Day.

Disney Plus' Marvel special featured quite a bit of footage from the upcoming Hawkeye series, even though we had seen most of it in trailers. Hailee Steinfeld appeared as 22-year-old skilled archer Kate Bishop, teaming up with a reluctant Clint Barton to deal with a threat from his past. (First aired November 24.)

The special also featured "Ms. Marvel," starring Iman Verani as Pakistani American teen Kamala Khan. We were hoping for the first full trailer, but for now we will take this snippet. (Summer 2022 release)

Disney Plus Day gave fans the first footage of Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight, aka Mark Spector. Samuel L. Jackson reprises his role as Nick Fury, and Ben Mendelsohn returns as Sklar Talos, whom he first met in the "Captain Marvel" films. This crossover comic book event series will feature a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.

The special was written and directed by "Guardians of the Galaxy" veteran James Gunn.
