It's official: Best Buy's first Black Friday sale has begun. The early bird sale will run through Friday, October 22, with discounts starting at $99 for Chromebooks and up to $540 off Samsung consumer electronics.
These are the earliest Black Friday sales Best Buy has ever seen. The announcement is no surprise, however; Amazon launched its Amazon Epic Daily Deals event earlier this month, and Walmart Deals for Days has also been confirmed. Here are the discounts Best Buy will be offering next week:
If the device you want isn't on sale next week, don't worry; Best Buy also revealed in its announcement that Black Friday discounts will begin on Friday, November 19. This is one week before the official Black Friday.
In terms of shipping, Best Buy states that same-day delivery is available on thousands of products. Orders placed before 3 p.m. local time will be delivered by 9 p.m. local time; next-day delivery is also free for orders over $35. Best Buy will also offer contactless curbside pickup at all stores. Note that Best Buy will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Like most major retailers, Best Buy offers a Black Friday Price Guarantee: My Best members (free to join) and Totaltech members ($199/year) will automatically receive a refund if prices drop further on items purchased at Best Buy before Black Friday (November 26). If the price of your Best Buy purchase drops further by Black Friday (Nov. 26), you will automatically receive a refund. Since the refund is automatic, there is no need to email or contact Best Buy. However, the product must be eligible for the Black Friday Price Guarantee. (The Black Friday Price Guarantee logo will appear on the product page.) Non-members may visit a Best Buy store or contact Best Buy Customer Care.
