Samsung is expanding its TV lineup by adding new sizes to its popular lifestyle models, including the Neo QLED 4K TV, The Frame, and The Terrace. With a total of five new models, Samsung's current model lineup now includes more types and screen sizes than any other TV manufacturer.
Three new models, large and small, have been added to the Samsung QN90A Neo QLED TV, giving us more choices in screen sizes for our favorite TVs. The Samsung QN90A Neo QLED TV now comes in 43", 50", and a huge 98" model.
This 98-inch model also makes this Neo OLED TV one of the largest 4K sets available for purchase, while most 4K TVs are capped at 85 inches. By comparison, LG's largest OLED TV currently stands at 88 inches.
However, the additional size of this 7-foot-wide TV does not come cheap. Even the model we found on our Best 85-Inch TVs page sells for $4,999.
A new 85-inch model will also be added to The Frame, Samsung's art-inspired wall-mounted TV set, which is perfect for watching movies on the big screen or painting Picasso's "Guernica" a little closer to actual size.
This new ultra-large model will join the existing Frame 4K QLED TV lineup, which ranges from 43" to 75"; when matched with a 4K TV and a selection of Samsung's high-resolution art using Samsung's Ambient mode, Frame is an expensive print rotating collection of fine art that will look better than the more expensive prints.
Finally, Samsung's line of outdoor televisions, The Terrace, will add a new 65-inch model to the full-sun model launched earlier this year. This new model is comparable to the 65-inch Partial Sun outdoor TV that Samsung launched the previous year, offering a full-size smart TV experience in a rugged, weather-resistant package.
The new model will be available this week on Samsung's website as well as through major retailers; the 50-inch Samsung QN90A Neo QLED (model number: QN50QN90AAFXZA) is already available on Samsung's website, regularly priced at $1,. 499; the 65-inch Terrace Full Sun outdoor TV is currently available for $9,999.
Other models will be available on Samsung's website and through major retailers after today (September 1), although pricing has not been announced. We will update this article as additional pricing and sales information is confirmed.
