Wander Vision is becoming more like the MCU. The mid-credits scene in episode 8 of Wander Vision was a big preview of what is to come in next week's season finale. And this scene was a pretty big one, shaking up one of the show's most important characters with a whole new outlook.

And since we're diving into that big reveal, consider this your warning: below these links, go any further and you will be spoiled for WandaVision Episode 8.

This week's mid-credit scene began with S.W.O.R.D. director Tyler Hayward revealing that his organization has finally (successfully) rebuilt Vision and brought it back online. This completes the project that Darcy, Jimmy, and Monica have been discovering in past episodes.

This was accomplished by injecting the energy of the spy plane sent to Westview into the reconstructed android's body.

As we saw earlier in the episode, Vision's body was subjected to experimentation and degradation. Hayward lied to Monica that Wanda had stolen the Vision to hide the fact that the true body was still in S.W.O.R.D.'s hands. (Remember, the Westview visions are manifestations of Wanda's energy.)

The blank white version of the vision is a legacy of a character from the 1989 version of the story "Vision Quest." In it, Vision was dismantled by a team led by Cameron Block, the director of Vigilance, who wanted to use Vision for national defense.

In that story, Vision loses his humanity and spirit during reassembly and disassembly, as suggested by the lack of color in his body.

That is why, unlike the visions created by Wanda, these reassembled visions should be seen as illegitimate, even though they were created using actual parts of his body. Of course, Hayward is going to use the blank visions to stop Wanda, so there should be a big fight in the series finale.

Then we have to wonder: ...... When will the surprise cameo be? Paul Bettany said he is excited to finally work with the actor, but they have yet to reveal.
