So much for excitement through anger. In Season 3 Episode 5 of Ted Russo, the aftermath of AFC Richmond's 4-1 loss to West Ham after sabotaging its own aspirations and going up 2-0 in the first half.
Last time, the coaches, without telling Ted (Jason Sudeikis), showed the team a video of Nate (Nick Mohamed) tearing down the "BELIEVE" sign from last season. Then, in what was meant to be a motivational move, the Greyhounds hit the field and attacked and hurt the West Ham team led by Nate and Rupert. New star Zava (Maximilian Osinski) looked incredibly confused by it all. Below, we'll spend the rest of the week picking up the pieces.
Off the field, it turns out that Rupert (Anthony Head) is having an affair with his new wife Bex (Keely Hazel). In addition, Rupert sets Nate up with Anastasia (Ely Nova), who he introduces as Nate's fan. Nate's reaction suggested that she was a celebrity. Oh, and Ted told his ex-wife Michelle (Andrea Anders) that he was upset about how he found out she was currently involved with a former marriage counselor.
What about this week's events in the Premier League? Apple's official description of Season 3, Episode 5, "Signature" of "Ted Russo" says: Richmond is reeling against a strong Manchester City team. Off the pitch, everyone faces their own setbacks.
And that's what we expect, apart from setbacks. When I wrote my review of Season 3 of Ted Rathbos, I raved that the new season still deserved to be called one of the best shows on Apple TV Plus, but this is the first episode I hadn't seen then.
