Since its first season, White Lotus captivated the audience and it has become one of the best shows in Max.

Like White Lotus, nine Perfect Strangers, the Hulu show based on Liane Moriarty's New York Times best-selling book, guests to a luxury resort (albeit one that focuses on health and wellness).

9 strangers are the founders of Tranquillum House resort. By heading to a resort led by Masha (played by nicole Kidman), they seek an escape from each of their emotional turmoil. Spiritual Guide Masha addresses their traumas by her hand-picked guests, including lying in individual graves where they each dig themselves.

The White Lotus hotel's managers Armond (played by Murray Bartlett) and Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore) make sure every detail is ironed out on the guest's itinerary. Masha uses the guest as a pawn in the master plan, and viewers watch as she has her own secret that she is trying to escape.

Before creating White Lotus, Mike White partnered with Laura Dern to create and executive produce Enlightened. White wrote the series and also starred in the series while Dern starred as Amy Jericho, a woman who goes through a breakdown at work before heading to a two-month stay at a holistic treatment facility. After learning meditation and self-help practices, Amy returns to her former workplace and is rehired into what she sees as a demoted position. Amy begins to reveal corporate corruption at the company and begins her quest to have a positive impact on people's lives.

Just as White Lotus gave the platform for Coolidge's comedy performance, Enlightened also showed off Dern's acting skills — especially with her look during the show's memorable opening scene in the pilot. The role of Amy was created especially for Dern.

Some of Amy's features fall along the white lotus Tanya — both are well-meaning complex women, but can't read the room most of the time. Enlightened received critical acclaim, but suffered from low ratings when it aired on HBO from 2011 to 2013 and only aired 2 seasons.

The Resort is a couple who arrived in Yucatan, Mexico for a relaxing vacation while their marriage was in dispute when Emma and Noah Emma found a cell phone that belonged to a college student who went missing from a neighboring resort 15 years ago. It is also known as the "black Hole". Emma and Noah begin to unravel the case of the missing student and are also trying to work on the marriage.

In this series, the audience can play a detective along with Emma and Noah, focusing more on mystery than the White Lotus. Fans of true crime will enjoy putting all the pieces together before the main character does.

Looking to the peacock

Two breakout stars of the second season of White Lotus included real-life friends Simona Tabasco as Lucia and Beatrice Grannú as Mia, vacationing at the White Lotus on their toes and reaching for their wallets and seeing American men. Keep two Sicilians.

Netflix's Dead to Me also features 2 women whose friendship is at the heart of the dark comedy. Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini (who are also close off-camera friends) Jen Harding and Judy Hale, unwittingly Laguna of Orange County

Each episode of the first season tells the audience who did it, while it becomes engrossed in mysterious twists and turns. Women form a ride-or-die friendship. Tom starts investigating his new girlfriend Sophie (Amanda Abington), a running list of witnesses and sources in a small community, and the local police both begin to reveal a secret that some community members wanted to keep hiding.

White Lotus, who enjoyed the mystery aspect of understanding who died in each of the 2 seasons, Safe offers a mystery that gives little clue as to who the true killer is until the final episode. The series is also poking fun and privilege and new money like the White Lotus.

The original drama series Fantasy Island aired in 1978 and featured Ricardo Montalban as the director of Fantasy Island with the mysterious Mr. Roalke and his sidekick Tattoo (played by Hervé Villechaize). Guests arrive on a remote island, and their "fantasies" are fulfilled — at a price.

Before Armond and Valentina waved and told White Lotus employees to smile as guests approached, Roarke was telling employees to do the same. Mr. Roark was running a list of guests' needs and desires and often tried to teach them a lesson while fulfilling their demands.

Some guests on Fantasy Island showed some arrogance, as did some of the guests on White Lotus.This was also sometimes undone. Unlike White Lotus, guests on Fantasy Island rarely interact with other families and guests on the island.
