In the final moments of Q3, Red Bull's Max Verstappen took pole position with a shocking performance. Just before that, Fernando Alonso (McLaren-Honda) had taken the lead, but it was not to be. Team Mercedes' new car was also not unveiled, and Lewis Hamilton was sixth on the grid.
In Practice 1, Lewis looked comfortable in the car, with F1 officials announcing that "Charles Leclerc has been given a three-place grid penalty for interfering with Norris' driving."

If you live in Austria or Luxembourg, you can enjoy the F1 Monaco Grand Prix live stream for free. And this is one of those weekends that Americans can also watch the race for free.
This is because Luxembourg's free-to-air broadcaster RTL Zwee will air every session of the Grand Prix, as will Austria's ServusTV. In the United States, "ABC" will broadcast the event.
But what if you are normally based in one of these countries, but not at home to watch the Monaco Grand Prix live stream? Maybe you are on vacation, or maybe you don't want to spend money on a pay-per-view broadcast in another country when you can usually watch it for free at home.
Don't worry - you can watch via VPN instead. Here's how to do it.

Using a VPN is incredibly easy.
1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we have mentioned, ExpressVPN is our favorite.
2. select the location you want to connect to with the VPN app. For example, if you are in the US and want to see Austrian service, select Austria from the list.
3. sit back and enjoy the action; watch the race on Servus or another website.
Like many of this season's Formula 1 races, the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix will be streamed live on ABC and ESPN. The broadcast will be on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, and ESPNEWS, while the race itself will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN Plus.
There are several ways to access ABC and ESPN, two of which have been voted best streaming services; ABC can also be viewed on one of the best television antennas.
ABC and ESPN are available on most cable packages as well as cable TV alternatives such as Sling TV, Fubo.TV, YouTube TV, and Hulu with Live TV.
ABC is only available on Sling Blue in some markets, so Fubo may be a better choice for this. In addition to cable TV, the race can be streamed on the ESPN app and the "Watch" section of the ESPN website. However, you will need to be authenticated by your satellite, cable, or live TV provider to watch the sessions.
If you do not want to pay for ABC or ESPN live broadcasts in any way, F1 TV Pro is your best option. This is F1's own official F1 live stream service, which, like ESPN's own broadcasts, uses feeds from Sky Sports F1.
F1 TV Pro costs $10 per month or $80 for the season, which is a much better deal considering that there are 23 races this year. In addition, you can watch Formula 2, Formula 3, and Porsche Supercup races, as well as archives of classic F1 Grand Prix races.
And remember, if you are usually based in the US. Watch a live stream of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix from anywhere in the world.
As always, Sky Sports F1 will show the live stream of the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix in up to 4K resolution.
To watch the F1 live stream, you must be a Sky Sports subscriber: the Sky Sports F1 channel is available for £15 per month (Sky Q required).
To watch in ultra high-definition 4K, you need to pay a bit more: you need a Sky Q set-top box or Sky Glass and a package that includes both Ultra HD and Sky Sports F1. In total, this will be at least £45 per month, plus a one-time payment of £20 if you are not an existing subscriber.
A much cheaper option is to purchase the Now Sports Pass. To watch all 11 Sky Sports channels, the package costs £33.99 a month. However, 4K is not available.
Again, if you are normally based in the UK but are currently elsewhere, you can still watch the services you subscribe to with one of the best VPN services.
TSN is broadcasting a live stream of the Monaco Grand Prix in Canada in English, while RDS is broadcasting in French. F1 TV Pro also remains an option for fans.
All sessions are broadcast on TSN, and if you receive the network through a cable or satellite provider, you can use TSN Go by signing in with your TV service credentials. Cord cutters will want to check out TSN Direct, which offers daily and monthly passes for $8 or $20 CAD, respectively; the TSN app allows you to stream the races live from your cell phone, streaming box, or compatible device.
Not actually available in Canada at this time; ExpressVPN or other VPN services can be used to access services to which you are already subscribed.
In Australia, "FOX SPORTS" has the rights to live stream the Monaco Grand Prix, and all the action can be seen online via "Foxtel".
Kayo Sports is another option. The service offers a 14-day free trial to new subscribers, with one-month subscriptions starting at $25.
Also, with one of the best VPN services, you can follow the action from your home country even when you are elsewhere.
