As we enter December (how did that happen?), this week is full of new programming on streaming services such as Netflix and Apple TV Plus, as well as on broadcast and cable TV.

Narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, this three-part documentary delves into the life and murder of music icon John Lennon. The infamous case shocked and devastated the world.
The film was granted extensive Freedom of Information Act requests from the NYPD, the Parole Board, and the District Attorney's Office. The archival footage is balanced by exclusive interviews with many witnesses, including cab driver Richard Peterson, doorman Jay Hastings, Chapman's defense attorney and Lennon's close friend Elliot Mintz, psychiatrist Dr. Naomi Goldstein

Could this French crime drama be the next Lupin? Possibly. The action takes place not in Paris, but in sun-drenched Marseille, but it is full of twists and intrigue that will be clever and engaging. The story begins with a vicious drug dealer trying to take over a coastal town. A corrupt police captain and his team of maverick cops are tasked with tracking down the criminals. At the same time, a new recruit joins the department with an agenda.

Jason Isaacs stars in this biographical series about Archibald Alexander Leach, better known to the public as Cary Grant. (Dainton Anderson, Archie Oakley Pendergast, and Callum Lynch play the roles.) The film follows the actor from his childhood in poverty in Bristol in 1904 to his international fame as a leading Hollywood actor in vaudeville and stage musicals.
Despite his outward success, however, Grant struggles with inner demons and a tumultuous love affair with a woman. This four-part limited series was produced with the help of his ex-wife Diane Cannon and daughter Jennifer Grant.
It premieres on BritBox on December 7 at 3:01 a.m. ET
Most heist stories end with the group of culprits going through with it and going their separate ways; "Culprits" starts there. The gang, including mastermind Diane (Gemma Arterton), former bodyguard Joe (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett), and con artist Officer (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), have made a lot of money and a new life.
And now, when a ruthless, unidentified assassin begins to target them one by one, their past comes back to haunt them. To protect themselves, each other, and their loved ones, they must once again band together and find out who is stalking them and why.

Tis the season for baking! It's been a busy year for the Baking Show franchise, which has already released one season from the original flagship series, one from the spin-off "The Professionals," and one from "Juniors."
As a holiday treat, last year's Great British Bake Off special is finally coming to Netflix, a year after it aired in the U.K. (so you can see departed host Matt Lucas alongside Noel Fielding). As usual, Paul Hollywood and Prue Reese will be on hand to judge the treats made by Terry Christian, Mikita Oliver, Tony Robinson, Gabby Roslin, and Claire Sweeney.
