If you're looking for more battery life out of your iPhone 15 Pro, tests by MacWorld show the impact of a 120Hz display on durability.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and their predecessors, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro, feature Apple's ProMotion 120Hz standard display, which allows users to swipe through menus, social media scrolling through social media, and watching high frame-rate videos feels smoother. However, tests of the iPhone 15's battery life showed that all new models outperform the iPhone 14 version, but the Pro model falls short of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus of the same size.

Thanks to the "Limit Frame Rate" option in the iOS accessibility settings, it is possible to turn off ProMotion smoothness on iPhones with 120 Hz screens and limit it to 60 Hz, the same as non-Pro models. However, when this was done, Geekbench 4 battery tests showed only a 5% increase in battery life on the iPhone 15 Pro and 6% on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

While this may seem surprising, it is actually quite common.
