Many people are wondering when The Marvels will finish its theatrical run and appear on Disney Plus, one of the best streaming services available. Like nearly all other Marvel content, and all TV shows and movies produced by Marvel Studios, The Marvels will eventually appear on Disney Plus.

And with the MCU in a bit of a rough spot, it is reasonable to not want to spend theater money on Marvel movies. While Season 2 of "Loki" closed to positive reviews, the reviews for "Marvels" were mixed. However, audiences have enjoyed it far more than the critics. Knowing that "Marvels" will undoubtedly be available on streaming services, it is hard to blame them for waiting. Considering the box-office receipts, it seems certain that many people will be waiting.

Fortunately, we have a pretty good idea of when "The Marvels" will be available for streaming. When will "The Marvels" be available on Disney Plus?

As already mentioned, we have a pretty good idea of when "The Marvels" will be available on Disney Plus. There are many historical precedents that paint a pretty clear picture of what to expect. And with "The Marvels" being released on pay-per-view video-on-demand on January 16, 2024 (h/t Variety), we have even more data available to predict a Disney Plus release date.

First, let's look at Marvel's three most recent MCU films and how long it took them to hit Disney Plus. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever dates back to Phase 4 (now in Phase 5), and there was a three-month gap between its theatrical release in November 2022 and its appearance on Disney Plus.

But that was Phase 4; what about Phase 5? Well, after "Wakanda Forever," the curtain rose on "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," which fell far short of Marvel's expectations. But the film also followed the pattern of a three-month gap between its February 2023 theatrical release and its May 2023 Disney Plus arrival. The same was true of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which performed better than the third film in the Ant-Man trilogy, but still took three months to arrive at Disney Plus.

Will this pattern change now that we know that The Marvels will arrive at the PVOD streaming service before arriving at Disney Plus? Not only will the pattern remain the same, but we will likely know the exact release date for Disney Plus.

"The Marvels" will be released on Blu-ray and other physical media on February 13, 2024. Disney followed the same pattern with "Ant-Man 3" and "Guardians 3," distributing both films on Disney Plus just one day after they were released on physical media. In other words, "Marvels" should be released on Disney Plus on February 14, 2024.
