Currently, Amazon has the Xbox Series S for $299. This is the regular price for the console alone and is the only store that has it in stock and ready to ship.

In our review of the Xbox Series S, we noted that, while not as powerful as the Xbox Series X, the Xbox Series S remains an impressive product.

Certainly, games look better on the more powerful Xbox Series X, but characters, backgrounds, and items are rendered brilliantly on the Xbox Series S as well. In "Yakuza" Furthermore, the frame rate did not drop significantly on either platform.

In general, the Xbox Series S upscales content beautifully to 4K.
