Technically, it may still be winter, but it's never too early to start thinking about spring cleaning. So why not buy a robot vacuum cleaner instead of you?
To make cleaning less tedious and more relaxing, Amazon is offering the Neato D4 for $299 in advance of President's Day. This mid-range robotic vacuum cleaner normally sells for $430, and while this isn't the steepest discount we've seen on this particular robotic vacuum cleaner, it's still one of the better President's Day sales we've seen.
In our Neato D4 robot vacuum review, we said the Neato D4 is one of the "best robot vacuums at a reasonable price" and specifically praised its solid cleaning performance and quick mapping capabilities.
In performance tests, the robot vacuum performed admirably, sucking up most of the dust, carpet hair, and dog hair placed in its path. It even outperformed more expensive models when it came to cleaning certain things.
What really impressed me with the Neato D4, however, was the mapping feature. The vacuum cleaner can be set to ignore certain areas of the house, and thanks to the intuitive app, setting up regular cleaning routes is easy.
The distinctive D-shape may not be to everyone's taste, but beneath the matte black plastic exterior lies a vacuum cleaner that offers very solid performance. It may lack some of the features offered by premium competitors, but at this price, you are getting a very solid device.
