Pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy FE have finally begun, and retailers are already slashing prices on Samsung's new value-oriented phone.
For a limited time, Amazon is selling the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S20 FE for $599.99. This is a $100 discount and one of the best deals on the Galaxy S20 FE available now. The device will be available on October 2 (the Amazon page doesn't mention the price cut, but it is indeed $100 less than Samsung's price).
The Galaxy S20 FE ("FE" stands for Fan Edition) is essentially a cheaper version of the Galaxy S20. However, the Galaxy S20 FE promises few compromises. For example, it uses the same 6.5-inch AMOLED (2400 x 1080) 120Hz LCD and Snapdragon 865 CPU as Samsung's $999 Galaxy S20. It also has a 4500mAh battery and 5G connectivity, just like the Galaxy Note 20 Plus.
One of the few trade-offs is the plastic body and the fact that it has half the storage capacity of the regular S20. Other than that, it appears to be a solid smartphone for Galaxy fans who can't afford $1,000 for a new phone.
Amazon Prime Day is rumored to be right around the corner, and it's unlikely that any more unlocked deals will be available then. So grab this offer while you can .
