August 20 update: It's back: the Ring Fit Adventure is now available on Amazon for $69 (add to cart to see this price). This is a $10 discount; Best Buy has it in stock for the regular retail price of $79.99.
The Nintendo Ring Fit Adventure is a fun way to train while playing with your Nintendo Switch. The device has been a lifesaver, especially during pandemics. However, like the Switch, it is nearly impossible to obtain. But that hasn't stopped Amazon from secretly lowering the price.
For a limited time, Amazon is selling the Nintendo Ring Fit Adventure for $69.88. (You'll need to add it to your cart to see this price.) This is the first time we've seen this device on sale, and it's the first time we've seen a sale on the device, though we're not sure how long it will last. Stock won't be available until September 30, but Amazon will honor the sale price and ship it for free as soon as it arrives. (Be sure to check out our guide on where to buy the Nintendo Ring Fit Adventure, as this sale will likely sell out quickly.) [The Ring Fit Adventure consists of two accessories: the Ring-Con and the Leg Straps; the Ring-Con is a flexible hoop with two pads for pushing in and pulling out the ring by sliding the Joy-Con; and the Leg Straps are a pair of pockets for the Ring-Con and the Leg Straps, It can be controlled in the same way as Nintendo Labo. The leg straps wrap around the thighs and have slots for sliding the Joy-Con. (Joy-Con not included).
Our review of the Ring Fit Adventure allowed us to figure out how to use the Ring-Con relatively quickly. The name of the included game, Ring Fit Adventure, is an obstacle course-style adventure where you run in place, pull the Ring-Con, and repeat sets of squats.
All in all, it's a fun device for all Switch owners; it's unlikely to be re-released until Amazon Prime Day.
