As the COVID-19 coronavirus continues to spread throughout the United States, more people may be home quarantined. Meanwhile, non-infected individuals may want to telecommute or self-isolate, especially those living in infected areas.
Although the coronavirus outbreak has not yet reached pandemic levels, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security recommends stockpiling a two-week supply of water, food, and other essentials.
"Keep non-prescription medications and other health supplies on hand, including pain relievers, stomach and cough medicines, cold remedies, electrolyte-containing fluids, and vitamins," the DHS guidelines state.
