Latest Battlefield 6 Leaks Tips in War Zone Killer

New leaks have revealed more details about the upcoming online shooter "Battlefield 6," including details about the battle royale mode.

The sixth installment in the popular Battlefield game series was confirmed by EA during an earnings call last year, and earlier this month we heard rumors that the game would be officially announced in May. There are also strong indications that "Battlefield 6" will be set in the modern era.

This latest leak comes from a Reddit user who claims to have inside information about the game, which has yet to be officially announced. The biggest news in this leak is that the game will include a battle royale mode.

This is not the first time DICE has experimented with a battle royale mode. A battle royale mode called "Firestorm" was released as post-launch DLC for Battlefield V, but it was repeatedly delayed and struggled to gain significant traction upon release.

It would not be surprising to see the Battlefield development team give the battle royale mode another shot. After all, Call of Duty, the series' biggest competitor, has its own hugely popular mode known as Warzone, and Battlefield may want to compete with it with its own unique flavor.

The leak also states that Battlefield 6 will feature a game mode that supports up to 128 players (double Battlefield V's 64), will feature both small-scale and large-scale destruction, and will include re-released Wake Island, Metro, and Locker maps will be included.

Another major claim of this Reddit leaker is that Battlefield 6 will be a "hub" for past Battlefield games, much like Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Players will be able to launch servers dedicated to past titles like "Battlefield 1942" and "Battlefield Bad Company": they will also be able to mix and match content from different games for the ultimate Battlefield experience.

It is worth noting that the moderators of the Battlefield 6 subreddit verified that the user in question provided evidence of having sources "close to the game." The evidence of this verification has not been made public in order to preserve the anonymity of the leaker.

Of course, all of this is only rumor and should not be taken as confirmation without an official announcement. This is because such important content should deserve to be released on its own, not added to "Battlefield 6". If the game is indeed to be announced in May, the truth of this latest leak will be known in a few months.
