A massive gaming event coming to the Wal-Mart store Dec. 11- What You Need to Know

Update: Walmart has added new information that the PS5 and Switch OLED consoles will not be sold; the Xbox Series X will only be sold in All Access; and the PS5 and Switch OLED consoles will not be sold at Walmart.

Get ready: on Saturday, December 11, a major gaming event will be held at select Walmart stores. This in-store-only event will offer great deals on games and accessories. there will be no restocking of the PS5 and Switch OLED. restocking of the Xbox Series X will only be offered through All-Access. the Twitter account "Lord Restock" will be the first to report the impending restocking. He was the first to report it.

Not all stores will participate in next Saturday's restock, but you can use Walmart's store locator tool to see which Walmart stores have restocks. Restocking will take place from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM local time. We contacted Walmart for additional information. Unfortunately, this console drop does not include the Xbox Series X Halo console.

Note that Walmart is currently offering the Xbox Series X console via All-Access. The bundle includes 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which requires opening a new credit line and paying $34.99/month over 24 months.

Last month, Walmart had the most video game console price cuts of any major retailer. This is the first time, though, that the console will be sold in stores; BestBuy and GameStop are also experimenting with in-store price cuts.

The PS5 may become an even more desirable console next year, as Sony is reportedly launching Project Spartacus to directly challenge Xbox Game Pass. The new service will combine PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, giving PlayStation owners access to a library of classic and modern games for a monthly fee.
