UFC 266 is now live. Tonight's main card revolves around a fight that should have been originally scheduled to be seen already. Unfortunately, it was postponed by (you guessed it) Covid-19. Ortega's only loss in his entire career was a doctor stoppage TKO loss to Max Holloway (yes, him again) in 2018. Ortega's record of 15-1 (1 loss) includes only one loss, which he took from Mike De La Torre at UFC On Fox in 2014.
To get the fight going, Volkanovsky and Ortega coached opposing teams in this summer's season of The Ultimate Fighter, and just below them on the card, Nick Diaz, who has not won in 10 years (and has not fought in seven), faces Robbie Lawler will face Robbie Lawler.
In the other co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko and Lauren Murphy fight for the former's flyweight title.
