Football season is here, and Hulu with Live TV (Hulu for cord cutters) finally has an NFL network. Offering live preseason streams, exclusive regular season games, and other content, this channel is not the only big football network coming to Hulu.
NFL Red Zone is finally available to Hulu subscribers through Sports Add-Ons, a new add-on package for the live service. For $9.99/month, this channel, which offers touchdowns from every NFL game, plus other channels, is available.
The package also includes the Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, MAVTV Motorsports Network, TVG, and TVG2. Frankly, this selection is not as great as what other competitors are offering.
The NFL Network is part of Sling TV Blue, YouTube TV, and Fubo TV; AT&T TV does not have the NFL Network.
Sling TV offers NFL RedZone with its $11/month Sports Extra package, MLB Network, NHL Network, Tennis Channel, PAC 12 Network, Big 10 Network, NBA TV, Olympic Channel, MLB Strike Zone, beIN Sports, Golf Channel, and FS2 are also available.
Fubo's RedZone and has its own $11/month Sports Plus package, which includes NBA TV, NHL Network, MLB Network, MLB Strike Zone, Tennis Channel, Zona Futbol, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, Fight Network, 4 Stadium Channels and 6 Pac-12 Channels, plus many more add-ons.
With Hulu's options being so few and only $1 cheaper, it honestly doesn't feel like the best move. That said, the introduction of this sports add-on package is a good thing sooner rather than later. Especially for those who want Hulu's premium original programming included (and don't need MLB, NBA, or NHL networks).
