Live stream of Brazil vs. Argentina will begin soon.
The two South American giants will meet for the 108th time head-to-head in the Copa America final on Saturday (July 10, Sunday in the UK).
First, Lionel Messi, now 34 and (presumably) in the final stages of his career, has a chance to win his first major tournament in Argentine colors. But history is against him: Brazil beat Argentina in the 2019 Copa semifinals and the 2007 final, and Messi has played in both of those tournaments; Messi was also the losing side in the 2015 and 2016 finals against Chile, and the 2014 World Cup final.
But he is not the only star player with something to prove today. Brazil's Neymar also missed the 2019 tournament due to injury and did not win the big trophy.
As if to confirm that Neymar and Messi are the stars of the tournament, organizers today named them the tournament's best players. As the organizers said, "Since there are two players in this tournament, it is not possible to pick just one.
Nor is it unfair: Messi has four goals and five assists, while his rival has two goals and three assists.
Both will obviously play today, but Brazil will be without the suspended Gabriel Jesús for the second game. No changes from the semifinal against Peru.
Argentina will start with defender Cristian Romero returning from injury as one of three defenders. Paredes will start in midfield instead of Rodriguez, while Di Maria returns in attack in place of Gonzalez.
The starting lineup is as follows:
Brazil (4-3-3): Ederson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Renan Rodi; Casemiro, Fred, Paqueta; Richarlison, Neymar, Everton
Argentina (4-3-3): E Martínez; Montiel, Romero, Otamendi, Acuña; De Paul, Paredes, Lo Celso; Di María, Messi, L Martínez
Brazil is currently the favorite by -0.5 points, over/under by 1.5 Goals.
Only one of the pairs will win, and we can't wait to find out which one it is. The good news is that you can watch the Brazil vs Argentina live stream for free wherever you are. Here's how.
