OnePlus has already made 2021 a glorious year with the release of the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9. However, OnePlus is not done releasing new devices and has opted to release refreshed versions of its mid-range line of phones; these devices, called the Nord series, offer a cheaper and more attractive experience than OnePlus' flagships.
The folks at MySmartPrice have obtained a full spec sheet for the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 5G. This leaked information was previously leaked by Android Central, but this leak contains even more details.
MySmartPrice's source confirms what Android Central previously reported: the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is said to use the Snapdragon 750G chipset with 5G support. 64GB/6GB or 128GB/8 GB configurations will be available.
As for the display, the Nord CE 5G is likely to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint sensor will be located in the display, similar to the one in the OnePlus 9 series. The new Nord will be made of plastic to reduce costs.
As for the camera, we hear that OnePlus wants the entire array to look similar to the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9, which means there will be a rectangular bump in the upper left corner. according to MySmartPrice, the main sensor will be 64MP, plus 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is 16 MP and is housed in a hole in the display.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will have the same 4,500mAh battery as more expensive models. It also supports 30W charging. Considering the more power efficient CPU, the Nord CE 5G is speculated to be a champion of battery life and will probably make the list of best cell phone battery life.
OnePlus is expected to announce the phone next week for Europe and India, with pre-orders beginning on June 11.
