The list of Nintendo Switch Pro has reportedly been discovered by the French retailer for €399

The Nintendo Switch Pro was listed on the website of French electronics retailer Boulanger at a price of €399.

Nintend'Alerts tweeted a screenshot of a list of retailers with details of the Switch Pro and its Euro price clearly listed. This, however, ignores European taxes, and the Switch Pro is expected to cost closer to $400 in the US

. While it is important to be skeptical of such leaks, French publisher Centro also stated that it had seen the Switch Pro listing.

"We obtained and confirmed a screenshot from the internal system of one major retailer that shows a new list of Switch hardware-related items to be released on June 4 (around midnight)," the publication reported.

This is consistent with other leaks that the Nintendo Switch Pro could be revealed before E3 2021, which takes place next week.

We have already heard that the Nintendo Switch Pro could appear this fall, so it seems logical that it could be revealed and pre-order lists posted before September. Furthermore, Amazon also has a listing for the Nintendo Switch Pro, which lends credence to the theory that an upgraded Nintendo Switch will be available.

Speaking of upgrades, the Nintendo Switch Pro is expected to feature a larger OLED display than the current Switch's LCD panel. It is also expected to offer 4K output in some form. However, it is not yet clear if this will be achieved by a more powerful chip or if the new dock will include some sort of upscaling technology.

Nintendo has been seriously tight-lipped about the Switch Pro and appears to be ignoring any rumors or leaks surrounding it. The furthest the company has gone in an investor conference call is to mention that there will be a "next platform" after the Switch. Whether this will be the Switch Pro or the Nintendo Switch 2 is not certain.

However, the Pro console would likely replace the current Switch, leaving only the upgraded hybrid console and the Nintendo Switch Lite.

We will have to wait and see what Nintendo's various announcements and showcases at E3 will reveal. That said, there is a good chance that the biggest gaming event of the year will end without any mention of the Switch Pro, and that Nintendo will instead focus on the Switch games scheduled for release this year. As always, time will tell.
