The jokes are on again. Season 9 of "Impractical Jokers" is returning to television. Just announced on Warner Media Upfronts, Joe, Q, Sal, and Ma will return in the next episode of "Impractical Jokers" Season 9, which will air this July.
But that's not the only big news for "Impractical Jokers" fans. The Tenderloins' movie special "Impractical Jokers: The Movie" will make its network debut (previously an HBO Max exclusive). But before it airs, the Jokers will be presenting each other with awards.
"Impractical Jokers" dominates most of the announcements from truTV today, with its only other news being the debut of "Backyard Bar Wars," a "classic home renovation that combines comedian and host Chris Distefano's hilarious moments send-up of the show."
The Impractical Jokers season 9 episode continues on truTV, July 8 at 10pm ET/PT. We don't have any details on the craziness that will test these budding friendships, but we expect them to try and up the antics from past seasons.
On Thursday, July 1 at 10 PM ET/PDT, truTV will air the Impractical Jokers Awards Show. Joe, Q, Sal, and Ma will host "an awards special unlike any other," as stated in the press release. The gang will "honor and celebrate cinematic masterpiece moments and outstanding achievements" from the series' history.
Sounds like a clip show if you ask us.
The movie-length "Impractical Jokers" special, which tells the embarrassing story of 1992 (no, not just the fashion stories of the time), will debut on Thursday, July 1, at 10:30 PM ET/PDT.
If you haven't seen it yet, it is a mix of scripted and unscripted content as the Jokers go on a road trip based on a flashback story.
