Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to be coming this summer, between May and July. Screenshots from the leaked marketing video highlight the key features of the foldable.

The following images leaked from @TheGalox_ (a Samsung-related leaker) give us our first (less clear) look at what the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will look like.

More important than the appearance are the features, and the leaked image adds two previously rumored features. First, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 may have the company's first under-screen camera, as previously predicted. When opened, it will allow users to play with the device's entire extended tablet screen without an obtrusive notch or pinhole camera.

Next, with the rumored demise of the Galaxy Note family, Samsung is expected to try to bring the S Pen to the Galaxy Fold line. This is evidenced by another screenshot of the phone open to make a video call and taking notes with the S Pen.

You may have noticed that the tip of the S Pen appears to be a bit more rounded than what we are used to, which is not surprising given that the internal folding screen of the Galaxy Z Fold series is less robust than most devices. Still, Samsung seems clearly confident in the display's ability to withstand thrust if this modified S Pen is a major selling point in the marketing video.

Where the S Pen will be placed when not in use is a bit of a mystery. Apparently, Samsung wants to introduce dust and water resistance to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, so it will not be docked inside the device like the former Note devices. support for the optional S Pen on the Galaxy S21 Ultra was helped, but it is clearly not the most elegant solution.

The consensus is that Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 3 will appear in July, but the existence of this purported marketing video leads us to believe that the device may be announced a bit earlier. This would give credence to Bloter's article that the device will be released in May, but the same article predicts that the device will be a two-fold device.
