Editor's Note: The title of "Spider-Man 3" is officially "Spider-Man: No Way Home."

Last night, when star Tom Holland revealed the title "Spider-Man 3: Von Home," it was in a sense definitive! [3 Then co-star Jacob Batalon revealed another title: "Spider-Man 3: Homewrecker." Finally, Zendaya joined in with "Spider-Man: Home Slice."

This was interpreted as the stars just having fun making fun of us (at the same time press photos were released). But what if this is not a joke?

When I stopped to think about it, I realized something big might be afoot. And the presence of multiple titles (and the photos in the post revealing these titles) suggests an underlying message about "Spider-Man 3."

First, let's be most literal. The backgrounds of the photos shared by the stars each look like Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. This is because Benedict Cumberbatch is set to reprise his role as Doctor Strange in Spider-Man 3.

Why does it matter? Well, Cumberbatch's next MCU film, "Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness," has a title that says it all. The presence of three titles, "Spider-Man 3," tells us that this is no ordinary Spider-Man movie.

As has been previously rumored (but not yet publicly revealed in the trailer), "Spider-Man 3" will feature Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in addition to Tommy Holland. Of course, both will reprise their roles as Peter Parker.

So, in light of all this, what if "Spider-Man: Von Homme," "Spider-Man: Homewrecker," and "Spider-Man: Home Slice" are actually based on the movie? What if each title was specific to one of the characters?

Phone Home could relate to at least one of the Spider-Men who fell through a gateway into an alternate reality; Home-Wrecker could relate to one of Spider-Man's many breakups; and Home-Slice could relate to one of Spider-Man's many breakups. And Home-Slice? Well, we'll see about that.

In any case, the background and series of titles in these photos seem to confirm what we have long suspected. Spider-Man 3 will shake the MCU to its very foundations.
