The Galaxy S21 debuted with One UI 3.1, the latest version of Samsung's Android Skin. Several new features were added, some of which were praised in reviews of all three models. But Samsung did not let these added features stay on its new flagship alone for long.
Starting tonight, the phone maker will roll out One UI 3.1 to the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Flip. all features on the S21 will trickle down to these phones now Not necessarily, but there is still quite a list of goodies for owners of these older devices.
Samsung has not yet revealed the full list of new things for these phones, but it did mention a few highlights. Here is what we know for sure is coming.
Single Take: Capture multiple images or short clips of a subject all at the same time.
Object Eraser: removes unwanted elements from an image. It may not save you completely from photobombs, but it can help you get rid of other nuisances.
Multi-microphone recording: This takes audio input from the microphones of both the phone and the connected Bluetooth device to improve the audio quality of the video recording.
Icon Fort Shield: This is a blue light filter that adjusts the blue light radiation of the display based on the time of day (similar to True Tone on the iPhone).
Private Sharing: This allows you to control who can access the content you share and for how long.
This One UI point release includes a lot of changes. Samsung says it will roll out the update in "some regions" starting tonight.
