The Odinlake Ergo ART Chair 643 is a minimalist name for an office chair. But despite its minimalist style, it offers plenty of adjustability and comfort, and as the Odinlake Ergo ART Chair review says, it's a quality chair, but before you decide if it's right for you, take a look at our list of best office chairs.
The Odinlake ErgoArt Chair is priced at $449. It comes in one color, gray, and only one size.
The Odinlake ErgoArt chair would look right at home in a Danish design house. It features an elongated backrest and a small headrest. The padded headrest and seat are dark gray, while the mesh-like seat is light gray. Combined with the polished aluminum base and black armrests, the chair is modern and minimalist.
The gray chair fits almost any home office setting, but it can be a bit drab, so another color option is never unwelcome.
Assembly of the Odinlake was similar to many other office chairs: attach the rollers to the base, attach the backrest and armrests to the seat, and connect everything together. There are only five screws, and the necessary two Allen wrenches are included, so no power tools are needed. In all, it took me about 10 minutes to assemble the chair.
I set up and used the Odin Lake in my office, and after a few weeks it was quite comfortable. However, it has less padding than the Branch Ergonomic chair, so it felt a little firmer than other office chairs.
The Odinlake's backrest was high and well ventilated, and I liked that the lumbar support could be adjusted up and down to best fit the small of my back; the Odinlake's arms are also very easy to adjust, and I found the lumbar support to be very comfortable, especially in the back. The armrests can be moved up and down, back and forth, and closer and further away from the body.
Other adjustments include the height of the seat and how far forward the seat is from the back of the chair. The headrest can also be raised or lowered.
Among the best office chairs, the Odinlake is a solid performer at a good price; I didn't find it as comfortable as the $100 or so cheaper branch chairs, but I liked that it is very adjustable. I wish there were more color options, but I was impressed with the minimalist design. Definitely an office chair worth a look.
