Time to watch the USWNT live stream on HBO Max! Yes, the live stream of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team has given HBO Max (the best streaming service) a little something extra. And Telemundo's Spanish-language version will be peacocking.
The action continues today (Friday, January 20) from Eden Park in Oakland, and if things play out like they did Tuesday, when USA won 4-0, the USWNT will win handily.
Unfortunately, forwards Megan Rapinoe (ankle) and Sophia Smith (foot) will reportedly not travel. However, the team is getting some talent back as defender Emily Sonnett and forward Lynn Williams will return.
These matches will be the USWNT's first in New Zealand and should be an important preview for the team. All three World Cup group stage matches will be played in New Zealand.
In total, HBO Max streams more than 20 U.S. national team matches each year.
The new streaming home of USWNT is HBO Max. Some games are broadcast on TNT and available on the best cable TV outlets like Sling TV.
HBO Max starts at $9.99/month and TNT is part of Sling's $40/month Orange and Blue tier.
As noted above, Peacock offers Spanish-language streams through Telemundo. These matches are also available on Universo, part of the $5-$10 Sling Latino package, which costs $5 when added to Sling Blue (or Sling Orange & Blue) or $10 on its own.
The January 17 game between New Zealand and the United States will air on HBO Max at 10 pm ET/7 pm ET.
The pre-game broadcast will begin at 9:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM ET.
This is the tricky part. As far as we can see, Sky Sport 7 beIN Sports is the primary way to watch USWNT matches in other countries. Of course, exceptions will happen. For example, Optus Sports in Australia will broadcast some matches.
However, the usual options are not available in the UK or Canada. Your best bet while traveling abroad would probably be to use one of the best VPNs.
The USWNT 2023 matches have been announced as follows.
