We know that there is going to be some confusion, if not force, about the "Mandalorian" Season 3 episode release schedule (listed below). Mainly because Lucasfilm and the powers that be will release all new episodes on different dates on Disney Plus.
However, there haven't been new episodes of Mandalorian since December 2020. So many of you may not remember how this series used to be delivered on Fridays. I woke up and watched the first episode as soon as I could, but the premiere of Mandalorian Season 3 disappointed me.
Also, The Mandalorian is one of many shows that arrives overnight rather than airing at a specific time. This is a bit frustrating for terminal netizens like us, because if we don't watch it when we wake up, we have to spend the day dodging spoilers. And when episodes are 30-50 minutes long, that's a lot of time to devote to a morning ritual.
And to let you know that you are in the right frame of mind to watch "The Mandalorian" Season 3, the details are rather simple. The main character, Mandalorian Din Jarin (Pedro Pascal), is seeking redemption on his home planet of Mandalor.
No longer a Jedi in training, Grog rides shotgun for this return to Mandalor, wearing a shiny new Beskar chainmail shirt. Beau-Katan Kreise (Katee Sackhoff) wants the dark saber that Mand won after defeating Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), and a major threat is looming.
Here's everything we know about The Mandalorian Season 3 release schedule:
The Mandalorian Season 3 will release one episode every Wednesday. Disney Plus has not yet released a full schedule, but there is enough precedent to sketch out a release schedule for the season, which begins March 1 (and should end April 19).
This is the weekly schedule:
New Disney Plus episodes are typically released at 12:00 am PT/3:00 am ET/8:00 am GMT/7:00 pm AEDT.
Sometimes episodes are released a little earlier than expected, so check back about 30 minutes before that time. That is if you are awake at that time.
Disney Plus pricing has recently changed, so you can now choose between the more expensive ad-free tier ($10.99/month (open in new tab)) and the new ad-supported tier, Disney Plus Basic ($7.99/month (open in new tab)) now.
You may be wondering how much time you should set aside for Mandalorian Season 3 episodes. According to reports (opens in new tab), the first broadcast is 35 minutes and 16 seconds, but I haven't verified that yet.
