Samsung did not release the Galaxy S22 FE last year, but there are rumors that the FE brand may be reintroduced in the form of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. We don't know much about this phone, but the latest rumors suggest that it could arrive very soon. In fact, before the next wave of Samsung foldable phones.

According to Twitter leaker @Tech_Reve, Samsung will move up the launch of the Galaxy S23 FE in certain regions to combat "poor sales" of the S23 series.

No mention of when this phone will appear, but rumors about the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 may provide a hint.

Samsung usually announces its second flagship phone of the year at the end of summer, i.e., mid to late August. Originally intended for the Galaxy Note series, this window was replaced by a new folding device following the Note's demise.

Recent rumors suggest that Samsung may move up the launch to the last week of July to compete with the Google Pixel Fold. If so, the S23 FE should appear before then and could be launched and released anytime within the next two months.

If this rumor proves to be true (which it may not), Samsung will decide to release the Galaxy S23 FE sooner rather than later. All of this is to make room for the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 before their launch. However, we will have to wait and see how this turns out.

Even if the Galaxy S23 FE does make an appearance, it is still something of a mystery to us. It will probably be somewhere between the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy A54. We speculate that the phone will start at about $599 and offer a bunch of premium features not found on the A54.

These features include a 120Hz display, a high-resolution camera, and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. However, given the proven excellence of the Galaxy A54, we have wondered if there is room for both models in Samsung's lineup. It will therefore be very interesting to see how the S23 FE, if it does appear, will fare.
