Samsung Tab S9Ultra5G Specs Leak Before Launch — Things to Know

Details of Samsung's next flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra 5G, have surfaced online ahead of its announcement at Galaxy Unpacked 2023.

Leaked from Evan Blass' locked Twitter account, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra 5G specifications include a huge 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The tablet will reportedly come with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, and the device will also support microSD memory expansion.

For photography, the device will feature a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front will be a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP selfie camera.

According to leaks, the UX we can expect on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra 5G is based on Android 13, but it will definitely have Samsung's One UI on top of it. The tablet will support both physical SIM and eSIM connectivity and is likely to have an 11,200 mAh battery.

If the leaked specs from Blass hold, the new Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will offer only one major upgrade over the existing Tab S8 Ultra. The lineup appears to be the same as last year, with a standard Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, a larger Tab S9 Plus, and an even larger Ultra model.

The most significant upgrade rumored in the new Galaxy Tab line is said to be coming to the standard Galaxy Tab S9 in the form of an AMOLED display; the Galaxy Tab S8 did not feature an AMOLED display at launch, offering an LCD panel instead. It had.

The latest round of tablets is expected to be unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked next week, along with the new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 folding phones, and the new Galaxy Watch 6 smartwatch.
