Season 2 of "Dr. Death" follows the rise and fall of a meth-wielding crook. This time, Italian con man Paolo Macchiarini is the protagonist, and you can watch all episodes from anywhere with a VPN.
Based on the Wondery podcast and also starring Judy Reyes and Jack Davenport, Season 2 of "Doctor Death" features Macchiarini, a thoracic surgeon who gained fame in the 1990s for pioneering a method of replacing patients' tracheas with artificial ones.
However, the trachea kept clogging, suffocating the patient and taking his life. Yet outsiders, fascinated by the surgeon's innovations, continued to proclaim Macchiarini a miracle worker.
Edgar Ramirez plays the disgraced practitioner once known as the "Miracle Man," and Mandy Moore portrays Benita Alexander, the TV journalist who fell under his spell.
