Unfortunately, it's not that simple. A deceptive local corrupt veterinarian sets his sights on the animal, as his side business requires him to bring in dogs like Beethoven for experimental purposes. You'll want to root for the Newtons as they uncover the secret and save their new family member. Also included is a touch of drama, a kid-friendly romance, and plenty of laughs.

Based on the real life of singer-songwriter Burt Millard, the film takes viewers behind the award-winning "I Can Only Imagine," his inspiration. The film begins with Bart's childhood and his experiences with his abusive father, Arthur, played by Dennis Quaid; as Bart, played by J. Michael Finley, grows up, he becomes involved in athletics to please his father. When an injury prevents him from playing sports, his situation begins to change. There he finds his calling in music.

He tries to save a baby elephant after authorities order it to be killed for fear the wild animal will escape.
