February 9 update: GameStop restocking is now online, with restocking of the PS5 and restocking of the Xbox Series S. The PS5 and Xbox Series S are both sold in bundles. Both are bundle sales.
Good news for those who missed the PS5 restock at Walmart on Thursday, Meijer has confirmed that the PS5 will be restocked in the near future. If you are still looking for where to buy a PS5, don't miss this opportunity.
Meijer's official Twitter account states that the PS5 console will be available in stores only in the near future. The retailer warns that the consoles are limited and that the only way to know if your local Meijer has the PS5 back in stock is to look for store signs announcing that the PS5 is available.
Meijer states that PS5 restocking events will be very limited. They have not stated how many PS5 consoles they will have available, but it does not appear that they expect a large restocking. Therefore, in order to secure and purchase a console, one must act lightning fast: according to Meijer, stores with PS5 restocks will have signs like the one above indicating when the console will be available. It will also indicate the number of game consoles that will be sold at that store.
Although Meijer's PS5 restocking is in-store only, it wouldn't hurt to have a Meijer.com account for future restocking events. (Or in case Meijer launches some consoles online). Have your address, credit card information, and other details ready, or at least a verified account, although you may want to hold back your credit card information.
