PS5 Replenishment: Target out of stock, but here's where to expect inventory

Update: Target no longer sells PS5 consoles. However, Meijer's PS5 restocking has been confirmed for the near future.

Good news for those looking for a place to buy the PS5: Target now has the PS5 in stock at select stores; check Target's website to find out where you can pick up your PS5 in-store. (Here in New York, it appears to be in stock in North Bergen, NJ.)

YouTubers ChitoGaming YT and JakeRandall previously reported that Target stores are "definitely getting stock in this week." Both YouTubers credit their employees for the leaked information, but even without the rumor, Sony has promised to increase PS5 inventory. So here's everything you need to know about the next restocking.

Unfortunately, reports indicate that the Target PS5 restocking event will be very limited. Stores may sell 10 to 25 units, and they will likely sell out within seconds. Therefore, it will be necessary to act lightning fast to secure a console and make a purchase.

One thing you can do right now to save time is to create a Target.com account (if you don't already have one). With your address and credit card information ready, you can check out and finalize your purchase immediately, even if you happen to have a PS5 console in your cart. Even if the console is only available in stores, you can use your Target account for other restocking events.
