HP's Elite Folio lineup seeks to provide professional users with a slim, portable notebook that can tackle any task wherever they are. And the latest version, unveiled today (January 10) at CES 2021, will allow these users to connect as fast as possible.
The latest HP Elite Folio runs on the second-generation Snapdragon 8cx processing platform. This chipset is 5G enabled, allowing the 13.5" laptop to stay connected and access high-speed 5G networks wherever available.
Not surprisingly, HP is releasing a Snapdragon 8cx Gen2-powered business laptop. When Qualcomm announced this new chipset last September, HP was one of the laptop makers that promised to release a 5G-enabled laptop using the new Snapdragon.

The pen fits in the built-in storage slot above the keyboard, where it can be charged when not in use.
Measuring 11.8 x 9 x 0.62 inches and starting at 2.85 pounds, the HP Elite Folio is easy to carry around; HP says the laptop chassis is made of 90% recycled magnesium by weight and the speakers are made of marine-derived plastic.
The laptop's 13.5-inch screen offers a resolution of 1920 x 1280 and supports 10-point multi-touch while resisting smudges from fingerprints. An optional HP Sure View Reflect privacy panel prevents prying eyes from viewing your work, and the HD webcam has a built-in privacy shutter.
HP promises long battery life for the Elite Folio, with 24.5 hours of video playback stored on the laptop; HP Fast Charge support means the HP Elite Folio can charge to 90% in 90 minutes.
