118 PS5 games have been registered on Amazon.com, adding to the excitement ahead of tomorrow's big Sony PS5 event.
Twitter gaming account Wario64 shared a screen shot of a report that a large number of PS5 game entries have appeared on Amazon UK, from developers including Konami, Rockstar, 2K, and Koch. The names of the games are unknown.
Many of the pages have since been removed, but at the time of publication of the article we found several untitled PS5 game listings on Amazon, including one titled "2020 Dummy ASIN Take 2 (2k) Game 1 PS5." Priced at £69.99, it is rather pricey.
Other publishers listing games include Konami, Bethesda, Namco Bandai, EA, Microsoft, Sony (naturally), Warner, and Sega.
However, don't expect more than 100 games to be announced at tomorrow's PS5 event. Not only is it incredibly difficult to share that many game details at a typical launch event, but Twitter's @Nibellion questions the accuracy of these leaks:
None of these games have release dates listed and most are "currently available impossible. We do not know when this item will be restocked."
It states.
However, the fact that they are still for sale in such a half-assed state makes us wonder what is in them. We have never listed an item on Amazon, but wonder what the process is like to make sure an item is available at a given time.
Tomorrow (June 11), we will channel Tom's Guide's afternoon live stream and show you the full force press.
