The first Walmart PS5 restock for 2022 is just around the corner. Walmart will restock the PS5 and restock the Xbox Series X on Thursday, January 13 at 3 p.m. ET. This restock is for Walmart Plus members only.
The membership fee is $98 per year, but there is also a $12.95 per month option. However, the free trial does not allow access to either restock, so you must be a paid Walmart Plus member to participate. (You can sign up at Walmart through this link.)
First, create a Walmart.com account if you do not already have one. Enter your address and credit card information and you will be able to check out immediately when you purchase a game console. You also want to know the correct landing page to purchase the PS5 at Walmart (link is above).
Once the console is on sale at Walmart, one must act with lightning speed to secure and purchase the console. It is worth noting, however, that Walmart tends to release inventory every 10 to 15 minutes. So if you don't get your console the first time, try again and again. Generally speaking, Walmart restocking can last from one to three hours. So it pays to persist and keep trying.
Many people have reported being able to get a PS5 by adding it to their shopping list. To do this, sign into your Walmart account and go to Walmart's PS5 product page. Click on the "Add to List" icon below the image of the console. You will then be prompted to enter a name for your wish list.
The next time Walmart restocks the PS5, you should be able to use the wish list to add the console to your cart (instead of going to the product page and waiting for the inventory to appear). Again, this method may vary from person to person, but it has worked in the past.
If you are denied enrollment in Walmart Plus, don't give up hope. We are bound to see more restocking throughout the coming weeks.
