Tonight's Astros vs Braves live stream has Atlanta looking to take a two-game advantage in the World Series while Houston tries to put last night's offensive woes behind them. The Astros and Braves get Game 4 going in this MLB Live Stream.
The Braves put themselves back in the driver's seat with last night's 2-0 win over the Astros in Game 3 of the World Series. Atlanta did it with a great performance from their starter Ian Anderson, who pitched five innings of no-hit baseball. They also got offensive firepower from Austin Riley with a double down the left field line in the third inning and Travis d'Arnaud with a solo homer in the eighth inning.
The 32-year-old Braves catcher had hit seven homers in just 60 regular-season games, but d'Arnaud hit two in this World Series. He is also batting .417 through the first three games.
Atlanta manager Brian Snitker threw a roll call, sending down the starting pitcher with a no-hitter after five innings. He decided it was the right thing to do for his bullpen crew, which had just had a travel day off. Snitker told reporters after the game, "At that point, in such an important game, I just thought (Anderson) had done his job." The Braves' bullpen allowed only two hits over the remaining four innings.
Now, the Astros will look to rewind tonight with Zack Greinke at the plate. It will be his third postseason start. Greinke has never pitched more than 1.1 innings in any of his starts. He will be backed by an offense that gave up only two hits total last night.
The Braves will opt for a bullpen game tonight. Dylan Lee will open for Atlanta in his first big league start. The 27-year-old lefty will make history as the first pitcher to start a World Series. So far in the postseason, he has pitched 2.2 innings and allowed one run.
