New color options for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro include pink for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, and Sierra Blue for the iPhone 13 Pro series. Here is also a breakdown of all the options.
Unfortunately, some rumored colors like bronze and orange were not included in the final colorway. Here is everything you need to know about the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro colors.
The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will be available in five colors. Pink, Blue, Midnight (Black), Starlight (Aluminum White/Silver), and Red.
Starlight, which replaces Aluminum, and Midnight, which replaces Black, will be the two most popular colors when the iPhone 13 goes on sale on September 24. These two colors are neutral colors that tend to appeal to the majority of cell phone buyers.
Blue, like Red, returns from the iPhone 12 line. iPhone 13's red appears to be a darker, deeper shade, as last year's model was a more pinkish hue. From the images, the blue unit looks very similar to last year's iPhone 12.
Missing from the iPhone 13 lineup are green and purple.
The iPhone 13 features a double flat-edge design on an aluminum frame. iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have a ceramic shield on the front for scratch resistance. Both are also IP68 water resistant, have a redesigned camera layout, and a notch for the Face ID sensor.
The overall design is similar to the iPhone 12, but with some tweaks.
Colors for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max include Graphite, Gold, Silver, and Sierra Blue. While Graphite is essentially a take on Space Gray, Apple is touting Sierra Blue to be something truly special. According to Apple's press release, Sierra Blue is "coated with layers of nanometer-scale metallic ceramic over the entire surface for a spectacularly durable finish."
The iPhone 13 Pro line also uses surgical-grade stainless steel for "abrasion and corrosion resistance" and a textured matte glass back, TrueDepth and Face ID sensors have smaller cutouts, and the rear camera has a stainless steel edge. The Proline is IP68 water resistant.
Each time an iPhone is released, some new colors remain, while others disappear. If your favorite color is not included in the iPhone 13, at least Apple releases a large number of cases to customize your phone. Colors range from deep green to bright orange.
