The live stream of Team USA vs. Canada is the final step before the final for the Megan Rapinoe-led team, which advanced to the final against the Netherlands after a penalty shootout. The Canadians likewise advanced in a penalty shootout (4-3) after a scoreless draw with Brazil.
Rapinoe scored with a shot through the upper right corner of the goal to make it 4-2 in favor of the U.S. team in the penalty shootout. Two of the Dutch team's kicks were successful, while U.S. goalkeeper Alyssa Neher saved shots by Vivienne Miedema and Aniek Nouwen.
As a result, Team USA went on the attack and scored goals from Rose Lavelle, Alex Morgan, Kristen Press, and (finally) Megan Rapinoe to seal the victory. Speaking of Lovell and Rapinoe, neither received a yellow card during the match.
How Canada won the knockout game is that goalkeeper Stephanie Labbé made a very important save on Brazil's Rafael's kick, the last penalty kick. That allowed Vanessa Gilles to score the final goal on Canada's last kick.
The stage for the hard-fought semifinals will soon kick off at 4:00 AM ET. Are you ready? Then here's everything you need to watch the live stream of Team USA vs. Canada:
The Olympics are a global event and can be seen in most countries on the planet. But if you are not in your home country and cannot watch the Team USA vs. Team Canada live stream on your regular service, or if you prefer to watch in your native language, you are not out of luck.
A virtual private network, or VPN, allows you to access the same streaming services you've already paid for by pretending you're surfing the web from your hometown (or anywhere else not hit by a power outage.) VPNs are perfectly legal and inexpensive and easy to use.
I'm not sure which VPN is right for me. After testing a variety of services, the best VPN overall is ExpressVPN. It offers great speed and excellent customer service. However, there are other VPN options out there.
The VPN is incredibly easy to use.
1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we have mentioned, ExpressVPN is our favorite.
2. select the location you want to connect to with the VPN app. For example, if you are in the US and want to see UK services, select UK from the list.
3. Sit back and enjoy the action. Go to your favorite website or streaming service and tune in.
There are two ways to watch Team USA vs. Canada. However, there is only one broadcast time, starting at 4 a.m. ET today; NBC's Olympic site lists live broadcasts of the semifinals at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., which could be a rerun. With the exception of the men's basketball game, it is assumed that the games will be rebroadcast on Peacock, which airs most of the Olympics for free.
You can watch the games live on NBCOlympics.com if you have cable or a streaming login. Nevertheless, US Soccer notes that the match will be broadcast live on both USA and Telemundo (not on NBC's site).
If you cut cable, you can watch USA with the Sling TV Blue package; with the Sports Extra package (an additional $11/month), you can watch the Olympic channels. Sling is our recommendation for Olympic viewing. Sling is one of the best streaming services, along with the other services we recommend for watching the Olympics: Fubo TV has over 100 channels (more than Sling), including all of the above networks, including Telemundo and NBCSN.
The games will definitely be available on Discovery+, a new service that broke the BBC's monopoly and has the rights to full coverage of the Tokyo Olympics. This includes a live stream of Team USA vs. Canada. This year, all sports and all events will be available on Discovery+ or the Eurosport channel, whereas the BBC is limited to no more than two live events at a time.
Discovery is currently offering a free three-day trial of the service, after which a full subscription is available for £6.99 per month or £29.99 per year. Additionally, the service can be streamed on a number of devices, including Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, and apps for iOS and Android.
