Google Pixel 6 Shows Up More Clearly If Rumored Specs Turn Out to Be Real Google is expected to unveil two new flagship phones this fall, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, and we now know everything from possible screen size and camera specs to battery and storage, and everything in between.
According to Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech, who has a varied track record with leaks and predictions, the Google Pixel 6 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and dual rear cameras with a 50MP main camera and 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. The front camera is reportedly 8MP.
But the Pixel 6 Pro is even more exciting and could be one of the best phones of the year.
The Pixel 6 is said to have a 4,614 mAh battery, a step up from the Pixel 5's 4,080 mAh battery. Other rumored specs include 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 256 GB option.
The Google Pixel 6 Pro is where things get really interesting and will be a serious competitor to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. it is said to have a 6.7-inch OLED display and three rear cameras. a 48MP telephoto lens will be used for wide and Ultra wide shooters will join the ultra wide shooters. The front camera jumps to 12MP. [As expected, the Pixel 6 Pro will have a larger 5,000mAh battery and more RAM, 12GB. Storage options will also be larger, up to 512GB.
The report does not mention a processor, but we have already heard that Google may skip Qualcomm and use its own Whitechapel chip. The idea is that if Google can control the hardware and software (in this case Android 12), it can provide a more Apple-like experience.
According to Front Page Tech, in addition to these specs, Google has promised "at least five years of software updates" for both Pixel 6 models. So you shouldn't have to worry about your device becoming outdated anytime soon.
Stay tuned for more Google Pixel 6 rumors and leaks as we get closer to Google's big announcement.
