Even if you don't live in a pineapple in the ocean, it's almost time to watch The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run online. One of the centerpiece titles of the Paramount Plus launch, the movie will also be available for streaming on paid video-on-demand services.
And the film seems to be a hot half-life of Sponge Bob and his encounters with his friends, starting with Gary. Of course, Gary makes an appearance because the film is about when everyone's favorite snail goes missing.
The movie seems to go back and forth between these origin stories and the race to find Gary. Of course, animated films are always accompanied by celebrity cameos.
Just because Paramount Plus isn't available everywhere doesn't mean you have to miss The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. It is very easy to watch it along with the rest of the Internet. With the right VPN (Virtual Private Network), you can stream the show from anywhere.
We evaluated many options and the best VPN is ExpressVPN. ExpressVPN meets the VPN needs of most users, offering excellent compatibility with most devices and blazing connection speeds. It is also reasonably priced at $12.95 per month. (The cost drops even lower if you sign up for a long-term contract of 6 months or a year.)
American fans can see "The Sponge Bob Movie": on Thursday, March 4, "Sponge on the Run" will be available on Paramount Plus.
This is the same day as the launch of Paramount Plus, a new streaming service.
Good news for those in the Great White North - Paramount Plus is available in Canada. That means you can watch The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run with American viewers on Thursdays starting March 4.
Paramount Plus is not available in the UK, but you can watch "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run": you can watch "Sponge on the Run". In fact, there is no need to wait; it has been available on Netflix in the UK since November 2020.
The "Sponge on the Run" tailor showcases the film's cutesy (but possibly off-putting, depending on how attached you were to the original) 3D-ish aesthetic. Also, the big storyline (Gary is missing!) ) and celebrity cameos are also featured.
Of course, Tom Kenny plays Sponge Bob and Gary, Roger Bumpus is Squidward, Clancy Brown is Mr. Krabs, and Bill Fagerbakke is Patrick Starr.
Equally interesting are the mega-celebrity (to not-so-celebrity) cameos. The trailer features Snoop Dogg and Danny Trejo, while What We Do In The Shadows' Matt Berry, Reggie Watts, and Awkwafina also appear.
