It was "Agatha All Along" ..... . making the MCU's biggest stars dance, that is. Last week, Wandavision revealed that wacky neighbor Agnes (the phenomenal Kathryn Hahn) is actually the powerful witch Agatha Harkness, as fans have rumored since the beginning of the season.
She introduced herself to Wanda and viewers with the very catchy theme song "Agatha All Along," which shows how Agnes/Agatha has been pulling the strings in Westview.
Oh, and this song is a total bop. Marvel and Disney Plus released the song on Spotify and it went viral on TikTok. One clever Twitter user edited a video of various Avengers shimmying to "Agatha All Along."
"Good morning MCU guys, we are dancing to our new favorite song, why not," wrote Twitter user @slayerfestx98.
The video features many MCU stars, including Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, and Chris Hemsworth. And of course, Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) are getting their groove on in a '70s living room.
"Agatha All Along" was written by "Anna and the Snow Queen" composers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez with Christophe Beck. No wonder it's so catchy! The man behind "Let It Go" unleashed this song on our ears.
The song pays homage to the theme song from the 1950s sitcom The Munsters. Sung by Hearn himself, the lyrics are a delightful wink-wink to the audience.
"She's insidious / So perfidious," the song exclaims." Now that everything has gone wrong, it's too late to fix anything". And Hahn "killed Sparky, too!" He adds.
This MCU dance edit is not the only tribute the song has inspired. There is also a trap/hip-hop remix and a rock band remix.
